Environmental Science Abroad

Study abroad experiences give deep insight into other cultures and ecosystems and are great ways to complement your Maryland coursework.  Below is just a sampling of the many programs available to you.  Please coordinate your study through UMD's Study Abroad office - 1118 H.J. Patterson Hall.  Failure to do so could mean you lose your privileges as a UM student, e.g., priority registration, etc.

American off-campus study

The United States is a huge country, with diverse ecosystems and many perspectives on American culture and environmental issues.  Consequently, American off-campus study can be another excellent way to broaden your education.
